PHILOSOPHY

We believe a happy and healthy pup is nurtured with activity that satisfies them physically, mentally and emotionally.  We achieve this through a positive reinforcement TRAINING and ENRICHMENT daycare platform of structured play time and rest time, all while making sure they are having LOTS of fun!

We have designed our space to accommodate a variety of pup personalities and needs.  We feature a non-slip indoor play zone with agility/obstacle course, cozy beds, loungers and blankets, quiet time kennels,  and shareable toys like tug-of-war ropes.  We have a separate "Quiet Pup Room" for our smaller and more introvert pups needing a break from the class clowns.  Outside we feature a pup playground, pup jungle gym/stage, pergola shade, pup pools and sprinklers and cozy artificial turf to wrestle on.

We regulate our dog handler to dog ratio down to no more than 14-16 dogs per handler.  We believe in human interaction and observation to behavior.  Keeping our ratio low allows us to better serve our pups.

All of our daycare pups participate in our routine "manners maintenance" platform - meaning that they are encouraged, expected and rewarded to focus, sit, stay, heel, lay down and wait throughout all  

activities during their day.   

Examples of training maintenance: 

• Sit and wait at closed doors for command to proceed
• Sit, stay, and eye contact during activity to  strengthen recall & focus ability
• Routine separation of indoor/outdoor bathroom habits to ensure no pup regresses with house training

Enrichment activities can range from sensory stimulation to mental puzzles to emotional connection for our pups.  We structure each day to have one of each category and rotate them routinely to make sure our pups are both challenged and fulfilled. 

Our TOP PRIORITY is keeping your pup safe!  Here's how we do it...

• ALL team members are pet first aid and CPR trained
• Everyday starts with a pre-shift perimeter check of full property
• Double gate transition zones (much like you see at dog parks)
• Off-street parking and main entrance
• Interior security doors & gates
• Interior AC and low-e window tinting for those hot Seattle summer days
• Required harnesses for secure and proper handling
• Harness coding tags for pups with special requirements/focuses
• Structured protocol for transition between indoor/outdoor space

*Fully fenced exterior with railroad tie reinforced border

• Security cameras on all dogs zones, offering pet parent viewing
• Segregated quarantine kennels for separation of ill pups
• Daily sanitation of all facility areas

Accidents happen!  We work hard every day to make sure every pup stays healthy, happy, and safe, however those little fur balls 

can play hard sometimes.  

We monitor all movement in person and on camera but in cases where we accidents happen, the HEALHTY PUP WARRANTY steps into place.

How it works:

• You can add on the HEALTHY PUP WARRANTY for $3 per daycare day that your pup is checked in for. Or you can purchase a monthly subscription for $50 that covers your pup all month long automatically.
• If your pup gets hurt and needs veterinary attention, your HEALTHY PUP WARRANTY covers the cost for you.
